The continuous drum roaster with hopper feeder is designed for uniform roasting and drying of products such as sunflower seeds, pistachios, peanuts, nuts, etc. Uniform drying is achieved by the rotation of the drum which constantly shakes the product and prevents it from sticking. Inside the drum there are “spirals” which move the product continuously towards the outlet so that the oven works continuously. The operator has to ensure that there is always initial product in the hopper. The product is transported from the hopper to the oven via a vibrating feeder. An electronic solenoid power control ensures an even feeding of the product. The electronic controller automatically maintains the set temperature inside the roasting drum. The temperature inertia is kept to a minimum level.
